Macedonia Baptist Church is first and foremost a place where God’s spirit resides.  It is a place where everyone is welcome and love abides.  

 Here are a few facts about Macedonia:

• Established in 1930 in Albany, New York.
• The Church has a diverse membership of approximately 500 members. 
• Sunday worship services are held at 7:30 a.m. year-round, and at 11:00 a.m. from September through June, and at 10:00 a.m. in July and August. 
• The Church is blessed with six associate ministers to meet the needs of its membership.
• There is a rich program of ministries that focus on addressing the spiritual, cultural, and Christian educational needs of men, women, and youth. 
• Since its establishment in 1996, the Macedonia Scholarship Fund has awarded over $62,000 in scholarships and/or awards to more than 70 students in support of their post-secondary education. 
• The Church provides tutoring and mentoring programs for youth from across the Capital Region. 
• The Church conducts two-week-long full-day Vacation Bible School sessions each summer for children of members and non-members. 
• Macedonia Baptist Church is a member of the Hudson River Frontier Missionary Baptist Association (established in 1963), the Empire Missionary Baptist Convention, and the National Baptist Convention.
• The Church is conveniently located near the CDTA bus Route. #1 on Central Avenue. it is also near Colonie Center Mall as well as a host of places of common interest to visitors and residents of the Capital Region.
