Youth Ministry
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12, NIV).

The Youth Ministry’s core mission is to encourage, guide, educate and save our youth. We expect to fulfill this mission through Christian fellowship, Christian education, and the provision of cultural and educational activities designed to expand the horizons of our youth.
At Macedonia, we love our children and invite them to become active members of our church community by participating in the Angelic Voices Choir and the Youth Usher Board, regularly attending Sunday School Classes and enjoying our Vacation Bible School during the summer. We offer monthly fun fellowship opportunities for our youth to enjoy educational and cultural experiences. We encourage our youth to share ideas and suggestions to make our Youth Ministry the best that it can be.
We believe that each child is special and unique. We support and praise our children’s efforts to grow and become good Christians. We believe that the future of Macedonia is shaped by the positive experiences our children have. We believe that what they receive from this Church will make them always want Macedonia to be their church home.
We look forward to welcoming you, in person, at our Youth Ministry!

Macedonia Youth in Action
The young girls of Macedonia definitely were counted among the Capital District’s 8th grade girls who participated in the Girls’ Inc. Eureka! program. The four-week summer program Sponsored by SEFCU and Royal Bank of Canada took place at SUNY’s College of Nano Science & Engineering (CNSE).
The program gave students hands- on opportunities to explore science and mathematics at the CNSE’s laboratories. The program culminated with a NANO Science Fair where the students had to design a product or concept featuring Nano science technology and present it to program sponsors, CNSE Instructors and their families. Congratulations Sydney, Julie, Kyla and Xavia on a job well done!!!
